Services · End-to-End User Research

Your study, run start to finish.

You already know what you need to learn. In this work I'm your researcher and moderator, not your strategist: I run the fieldwork, you get the findings.

Every stage is modular. Bring your own discussion guide or I write one from your questions and concerns. Recruit your own participants or hand me the screener. Scope and budget decide the assembly.

How a study runs

Four stages. Each one is yours or mine.

Discussion guide

Yours, ready to field. Or written by me from the problems and concerns you bring.

Recruitment

You bring participants, or I coordinate recruitment to a screener, including hard-to-reach and bilingual (Korean ↔ English) segments.

Sessions

In-depth interviews and focus groups, moderated natively in English or Korean, with your team observing live if you want.

Analysis & reporting

Full analysis or top-line findings. Your call, your timeline.

Qualitative research

The core of what I do, moderated natively in Korean or English.

User interviews

I plan, recruit for, and run in-depth interviews with your target users. Online or in person, moderated natively in Korean or English. For observing teams, I interpret and summarize live in the other language, so nothing gets lost.

Usability testing

Watch real users work with your product and pinpoint where it breaks down. It needs a prototype ready in the target language, so users focus on the product, not the wording. I include an expert review and language check to keep it that way.

Concept testing

Early, still weighing the market? Get first reactions from real potential users before you build. I help create the stimuli that expresses your product's value, and we explore which target users respond.

Focus groups

I generally don't recommend focus groups for product feedback: group-think creeps in and insights run shallower than 1:1 interviews. They shine for exploring a new concept together, or for products meant to be used by groups, where the group dynamic is the point.

Personas & journey mapping

Who your target users really are, and how they use competing products, mapped into clear personas and journeys, and visualized so the whole team can see it.

Other research support

Competitor analysis

Every market has its own logic: strong local incumbents, different user expectations from the one you know. Understanding who you're up against, and why they win, is a weapon before you enter. Scoped to your specific questions.

Quantitative surveys

When findings need numbers behind them, I design and run surveys to corroborate the qualitative work.

What you receive

Reports

Findings turned into actionable summaries, tailored to your timeline and objectives: bullet-point toplines to comprehensive slide decks.

Synchronized transcripts

Dive into the data yourself with transcripts of every recorded session.

Video recordings

Full session documentation, so no detail is lost.

Highlight reels & clips

Key moments cut into a short video that brings the user's voice straight to your stakeholders. A standalone artifact, or a supplement to the report.

Custom deliverables

From visual repositories to love letters and breakup letters: whatever format makes the insight land inside your organization.

One boundary, stated up front

This service delivers findings and evidence, not in-depth business recommendations. When you want the strategy built too, that's consulting.

Task-based execution

Already run your own research? Each of these is a standalone service, quoted per task, no project commitment.

Moderation only

Your study, your guide: I run the sessions. Bilingual (Korean ↔ English) moderation of interviews and usability sessions, with recordings and clean session notes handed back for your own analysis.

Interpretation only

Your sessions, my analysis. Send transcripts or recordings of research you've already fielded; you get back structured findings, themes, and the "so what": synthesis without re-fielding a thing.

Recruitment coordination

Participant recruitment coordination run to your screener, including hard-to-reach and bilingual (Korean ↔ English) segments.

Pricing

Task-based work is quoted per task. Project work gets a fixed project quote, or a flexible arrangement if that fits better.
